PART 1. A week ago today I released Ghost Tour. It is the art of lots of musicians. It’s the hours and hours of revisions and ideas and mix notes. It is made up of every moment, mistake, late night, pain, travel, love, lesson of the past 3 years and my 20s to this point. Thank you to @jeffarmstreet for working with me, sticking by me, supporting me, and understanding my potential for about 10 years now…even when I didn’t always see it in myself. This man has seen me through my teenage years, running 5 minutes late, being hangry, late nights, early studio mornings…I am not a morning person. He has appreciated me at my worst and has known that the best is yet to come, and I am very grateful to know him professionally and call him a friend. Not only does he put up with my crap, he also is an extremely talented producer, mixer, musician. He also mastered the entire record and was thrown into it last minute. He did an incredible job, I hope he doesn’t mind me saying that he doubted himself a little but he got the job done beautifully as he always does. @stukenbergmusic came into my life in such a way that I don’t even remember the first day I met him. All of the sudden he was just there and he was always there from then on. David puts everything he has into the things he works on and will stay up late nights making sure things are perfect and weird and incredible. He was there to help me finish the lyrics that I didn’t know I wanted to say, to send songs to late at night, to add a beautiful guitar, keys, crazy voices, alien Disney strings, whatever else we needed to any song that needed them. He has been the greatest friend, producer, co-writer, musician, mixer and has done whatever else has been asked of him. Jeff and David, words cannot express how grateful I am for you guys and this record. Thank you to @jaysnider for being the craziest, coolest drummer/screamer. Thank you to William Berry for also being an incredible drummer and for making Not That Deep what it is. Thank you @jazzmike for being an amazing human/angel/saxophonist/keyboardist. To all the beautiful souls that touched this album. Thank you to anyone who listens. It means more than you know.
